Static Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Static Security Guard to maintain a secure environment at our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring premises, preventing unauthorized access, and ensuring the safety of personnel and property. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong observation skills, and the ability to respond promptly to security incidents. Prior experience in law enforcement or surveillance is a plus, and familiarity with CCTV systems is highly desirable.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the designated area to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Observe and report any security breaches or safety concerns promptly to management.
• Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras, to oversee activities within the premises.
• Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations.
• Control access points by verifying credentials and ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
• Respond appropriately to alarms or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment by adhering to security protocols and procedures.

Experience

• Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is preferred.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance technology is highly advantageous.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential security threats quickly.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour
