Field Supervisor

Summary

As a Field Supervisor, you will oversee and support security operations throughout the city. Reporting to the Security Manager, your role involves responding to emergencies, assisting with delivering excellent service to the clients. You will have to stand down, cover last minute emergencies/moves, alarms, patrols, shifts. This is the largest part of your job. You must have the ability to wear different hats and cover different sites. On any of these sites you can be responsible for monitoring CCTV systems, controlling access, fire watch, contractor watch, gaurding a move, managing security personnel, and conducting regular inspections. A high school diploma or GED, extreme fluency in English, along with certifications in CPR and First Aid, are essential. You must have strong report writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Must have the following:

• Valid security guard license
• Valid drivers class 5 license and a clean drivers abstract
• Must be fluent in English
• Prefer open availability
• Long hours of driving, standing, walking
• Minimum 2 years of Security Experience
• Past experience in managing challenging security situations
• Extremely detailed record keeping, report writing and observation skills
• Minimum high school graduate or equivalent
• Must be 25 years or older with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Must be fit and physically able with going up and down the stairs.
• Attending all designated patrols and doing full site patrols as needed
• Successful candidate should be able to act in a guard capacity as directed by the management.
• Capable of operating a company Vehicle
• Driver License of class 5 or higher
• Valid First Aid & CPR certificates
• PPCT/HFRG Training
• Handcuff Training
• Any additional law enforcement, security certificates are an asset
• Must be comfortable wearing the Security Uniform with Pride
• Well groomed
• Must work well under pressure
• Capable of delivering excellent customer service
• Capable of training others
