EXPERIENCED SECURITY GUARDS – IMMEDIATE HIRING

Pay: Starting from $17.00 per hour, with higher rates considered based on relevant security experience, qualifications, and suitability for the position.

Complete Security Solutions Inc. is currently seeking reliable, professional, and experienced Security Guards for immediate placement at permanent security sites in Calgary.

We are looking for candidates who have previous security experience, strong communication and reporting skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a professional and customer-service-oriented approach.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

We currently have permanent positions available for:

• Evening shifts
• Overnight shifts
• Weekend shifts
• Fixed schedules
• Rotational schedules
• Shifts ranging from approximately 8 to 12 hours

Candidates with flexible availability, particularly for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts, will be given preference.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Depending on the assigned site, responsibilities may include:

• Maintaining a visible and professional security presence.
• Conducting regular interior and exterior patrols.
• Monitoring entrances, exits, common areas, and restricted areas.
• Access control and verification of authorized personnel and visitors.
• Responding appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, disturbances, and suspicious activity.
• Enforcing site rules, procedures, and client requirements professionally.
• Providing assistance and direction to tenants, visitors, employees, and members of the public.
• De-escalating conflicts and handling difficult situations calmly and professionally.
• Completing detailed incident reports, daily activity reports, patrol reports, and other required documentation.
• Using mobile applications, computers, and electronic security reporting/patrol software.
• Immediately reporting serious incidents or concerns to supervisors, management, emergency services, or the client as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must possess:

• A valid Alberta Security Services Licence.
• Previous experience working in the security industry.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Strong written English communication skills.
• Excellent report-writing skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients, tenants, visitors, employees, and members of the public.
• Ability to remain calm and make appropriate decisions during challenging or high-pressure situations.
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and follow site-specific procedures and post orders.
• Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The following will be considered an advantage:

• Experience using security reporting, patrol, incident-management, or guard-management software.
• Experience working at commercial, residential, corporate, institutional, or similar security sites.
• Experience completing detailed incident and occurrence reports.
• Experience with access control, CCTV monitoring, patrol duties, or customer-facing security assignments.
• First Aid / CPR certification.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation training.
• Strong customer service background.

COMPENSATION
