Job Description: Security Guard (Night Shift)

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Additional Compensation: Gas compensation provided per shift

Shift Hours: 4:30 PM – 7:00 AM (timings subject to change)

Work Location: Various sites across Calgary

Car Required: A personal vehicle is mandatory for this position

Job Overview:

We are seeking reliable and professional Security Guards to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and the public. The ideal candidate is attentive, responsible, and committed to delivering exceptional security services.

Duties:

• Conduct regular patrols to maintain order and ensure site safety
• Monitor and control access for vehicles and individuals entering the property
• Identify, assess, and report any suspicious activities or security concerns
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances
• Assist staff or members of the public when required
• Complete detailed daily reports, including patrol logs and incident documentation
• Provide a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activity

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of security experience (required)
• Knowledge of security protocols, public safety, and legal guidelines
• Experience in report writing and incident documentation
• Intense observation and situational awareness skills

Requirements:

• Valid Security Guard License (Required)
• Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Certification (Required)
