Job Description: Mobile Security Guard (Night Shift)

Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Company Vehicle: Provided for all mobile patrol duties

Schedule: Fixed rotation — 4 days on / 3 days off, then 3 days on / 4 days off

Shift Length: 8 hours per night

Shift Timing: TBD (night shift)

Job Overview:

We are seeking reliable and professional Mobile Security Guards to join our night team. Using a company-provided vehicle, you will be responsible for conducting mobile patrols and checking in on other security guards across Calgary to ensure performance, safety, and site compliance. This position is ideal for someone dependable, observant, and comfortable working independently during overnight hours.

Primary Duty:

• Check in on security guards posted at various sites across Calgary to ensure they are safe, active, compliant, and performing their duties correctly.

Additional Duties:

• Conduct mobile patrols between locations using a company vehicle.
• Perform site checks, including inspecting access points, doors, gates, and fencing.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, or issues at any location.
• Respond to alarms or urgent situations if required.
• Complete accurate nightly reports detailing all check-ins and patrol activities.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with the operations team.
• Provide a visible mobile security presence to deter unauthorized activity.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of security experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with patrol procedures and general security protocols
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Skills:

• Excellent situational awareness and decision-making
• Strong communication and professional conduct
• Effective time management and route planning
• Ability to document findings clearly in written reports

Requirements:

• Valid Security Guard License (required)
• Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Certification (required)
• Minimum 4 years of Canadian Winter driving experience
• 3 years of clean commercial driving abstract (must be provided once all other requirements are met)
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle for extended periods
• Ability to work overnight on a rotating schedule
• Reliable, responsible, and safety-focused

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.50 per hour
