Security Guard Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and vigilant Security Guard Supervisor to lead our security team in safeguarding our facilities, assets, and personnel. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily security operations, coordinate surveillance activities, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Duties

• Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments.
• Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.
• Establish work schedules and procedures.
• Handle emergency situations.
• Oversee cleaning of specialty and difficult items.
• Prepare and submit progress and other reports.
• Resolve work related problems.
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers.
• Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of law enforcement principles and procedures for effective incident management
• Proficiency in CCTV operation and surveillance technology to monitor premises effectively
• Experience in loss prevention techniques to minimize theft and property damage
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team of security personnel
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while making quick, informed decisions during emergencies
• Effective communication skills for liaising with law enforcement agencies, staff, and visitors
• Attention to detail in conducting inspections, audits, and surveillance activities
