Security Guard

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and loss prevention, ensuring that all security protocols are adhered to while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to observe and record activities within the premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure the safety of all individuals on site.
• Provide assistance to visitors and employees, addressing any concerns or inquiries regarding security matters.
• Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure a coordinated response to emergencies.

Experience

• Previous experience in law enforcement or security roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation and monitoring.
• Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques is advantageous.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and attentive at all times.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
