(HANDS ON) Security Agent

Barry Enterprises Protection & Security is in search of experienced HANDS ON Agents for multiple post in Alberta. This position requires a Security License from the Province of Alberta.

Monday – Sunday: All shifts available (Flexible schedules)

Immediate Security Openings – 5 year contract

We currently have several active positions that need to be filled immediately for a new site.

Requirements:

• Secret clearance through the Department of National Defence (DND) is mandatory
• Must have valid Alberta Security License
• Professional appearance and conduct at all times

Available Positions:

• Friday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm
• Friday to Sunday, 8pm to 8am
• Monday to Thursday, 8am to 8pm
• Monday to Thursday, 8pm to 8am

• Full uniform kits and equipment will be supplied
• Immediate start upon clearance and onboarding approval

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Rover : Foot patrols, incident reporting, touring/scanning sensors, enforcing rules, monitoring parking, etc.
• Access Control: Customer service, access control, greeting clients, residents and guests with a courteous demeanor, monitoring CCTV camera systems, announcing visitors, etc.
• Front Door: Responsible for managing property and monitoring access to and from a site, answering and directing issues to the team lead, and providing exceptional service to clients, residents and guests.

REQUIREMENTS:

• MUST have previous protection & security experience.
• Must possess a valid Province of Alberta Security Officer License (50% reimbursement available after probation period)
• Must have the ability to deliver exceptional customer service
• Must be able to clearly communicate in English. French not required, but a plus
• Minimum High School Diploma / GED Equivalent
• Must be a minimum 20 years of age
• Well groomed and capable of performing all physical requirements
• Pass an extensive background check (criminal record, driving record, drug testing, unemployment/workers compensation claims, etc.)
• Must have reliable transportation.
