Job Description

The Role

We are seeking a high-caliber Night/Mobile Security Supervisor to lead our field operations during the graveyard shift. This is a dynamic role that requires a leader capable of overseeing diverse environments—from high-stakes Construction and Industrial sites to sensitive Human Services, Residential, and Commercial locations.

As the "boots on the ground" link between our Night Dispatcher and our field staff, you will ensure our guards are performing at peak standards while assisting the Mobile Manager in maintaining our fleet’s readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Multi-Sector Oversight:
Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) checks across a diverse portfolio, ensuring site-specific protocols (e.g., PPE on construction sites, sensitivity at human services sites) are strictly followed.

  • Fleet Leadership:
Assist the Mobile Manager by conducting pre-deployment safety and condition checks on the fleet to ensure all company-marked vehicles are roadworthy and professional.

  • Tactical Coordination:
Work in constant sync with the Night Dispatcher to manage alarm responses, mobile patrols, and emergency call-outs.

  • Advanced De-escalation:
Lead the response for handling trespassers and unauthorized individuals. You must be able to pivot your approach based on the environment (e.g., firm at industrial sites vs. trauma-informed at human services sites).

  • Field Mentorship:
Provide on-the-spot training and support to guards, ensuring they feel backed by a supervisor who understands the unique challenges of the night shift.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Valid SSIA Licence:
    Current and in good standing.

  • Supervisory Experience:
Minimum 18 months in a security leadership role.

  • Mobile & Fleet Experience:
Proven experience in mobile patrols and a clean Driving Abstract.

  • Standard First Aid:
Valid Level C Certification (with CPR/AED).

  • De-escalation Mastery:
Demonstrated ability to manage high-stress interactions and trespasser removals safely and professionally.

Highly Valued Assets

  • Trauma-Informed Care / Mental Health First Aid:
Critical for our Human Services and Residential portfolios.

  • Industrial Safety Knowledge:
Familiarity with CSTS or construction site safety requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Adaptive:
Can switch gears instantly between different site types and client needs.

  • Detail-Oriented:
A "zero-deficiency" mindset regarding vehicle maintenance and guard performance.

  • Reliable:
A self-starter who takes pride in owning the night shift.
