Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity and ensure physical security measures are upheld
• Manage access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
• Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to monitor activity across the facility and surrounding areas
• Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies by following established protocols, including fire safety, medical emergencies, or security breaches
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security-related events or concerns with clarity and accuracy
• Perform background checks on new personnel as part of the hiring or vetting process
• Utilize conflict de-escalation techniques to manage disputes calmly and professionally while maintaining safety standards

Qualifications

• Valid armed security license or certification in accordance with state regulations
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields preferred
• Proficiency in surveillance systems, CCTV operation, access control systems, and emergency response procedures
• Knowledge of firearm handling, Taser use, AED operation, CPR certification, and first aid skills
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary
• Strong communication skills for incident report writing and conflict management
• Demonstrated ability to perform background checks and enforce compliance with security regulations
• Physical fitness to stand, walk, or perform patrols for extended periods while maintaining alertness

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
