Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises using CCTV systems and physical inspections to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security threats
• Control access points utilizing advanced access control systems, verifying identities and performing background checks on visitors and contractors
• Respond swiftly to alarms or incidents, executing emergency response procedures including fire safety, first aid, CPR, AED operation, and tactical interventions such as Taser deployment when necessary
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or suspicious activities with clarity and accuracy
• Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting to secure equipment or assist in emergency situations while adhering to safety protocols
• Manage conflict de-escalation and conflict management techniques to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining a safe environment
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies, providing support through surveillance footage review and incident documentation

Experience

• Proven experience in security roles, military service, law enforcement or related fields demonstrating strong physical security skills
• Familiarity with surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and access control systems
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety protocols
• Ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough security screenings
• Skilled in incident report writing with attention to detail for legal and operational purposes
• Experience handling conflict management situations effectively while maintaining professionalism under pressure
• Physical capability for prolonged standing, walking, heavy lifting, and manual handling tasks in various environments

Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
