Fair Chance

Patrol Solutions is an equal opportunity employer. We consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records, in line with the California Fair Chance Act, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the City of Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring. We do not ask about criminal history until after a conditional offer of employment.

California’s Private Security Services Act (Business and Professions Code section 7580 and following) requires every security officer to hold a valid guard card registration from the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS). BSIS runs its own criminal background check through Live Scan. Under state law, anything that causes BSIS to deny, suspend or revoke your guard card makes you ineligible to work as a security officer.

Job duties a criminal record may affect: protecting people and client property; working alone without direct supervision; holding client keys, access codes and alarm codes; reporting incidents to law enforcement; and, for patrol positions, driving company vehicles.
