Responsibilities

• Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance and conduct regular patrols to identify potential security risks or breaches.
• Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations by following established emergency response procedures, including first aid, and fire safety protocols.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security events, disturbances, or safety hazards with clarity and accuracy.
• Manage conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management strategies to resolve disputes peacefully and professionally.
• Conduct manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or supplies while adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security roles, military service, law enforcement or related fields is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of physical security measures including patrolling, surveillance systems, access control systems, and compliance with security regulations.
• Ability to prepare and handle incident report writing with attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, perform heavy lifting when required, and respond quickly in emergency situations.
• Familiarity with emergency response procedures such as fire safety protocols and conflict de-escalation techniques is essential.
