Event Security Guard (AST License Required)

Duties

• Monitor designated areas continuously through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential hazards or security vulnerabilities.
• Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary.
• Maintain detailed logs of all security activities, incidents, and visitor entries/exits for accountability and reporting purposes.
• Enforce security policies and procedures consistently to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
• Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing for suspicious behavior and intervening when appropriate.

Experience

• Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and monitoring software.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and best practices for deterring theft and vandalism.
• Ability to respond swiftly and effectively during emergencies or security incidents.
• Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and surveillance activities.
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and visitors.
• Certification in security operations or relevant training is a plus; willingness to obtain necessary licenses if required by local regulations.

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
