Job Summary

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility using CCTV surveillance systems and physical inspections to deter unauthorized access and identify potential threats.
• Monitor security cameras (CCTV) continuously to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior or security breaches.
• Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, including emergencies such as fire, medical situations, or security threats, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
• Enforce security policies by managing conflict situations with professionalism and calmness, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate tense scenarios.
• Provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations until professional medical help arrives, demonstrating readiness to act in critical moments.
• Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records accurately for future reference and legal compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields demonstrating a strong foundation in security protocols.
• Valid certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications such as law enforcement training or military background are highly desirable.
• Proficiency in surveillance technology including CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Knowledge of security procedures, loss prevention strategies, and emergency response protocols.
• Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and surveillance activities.

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
