Shift Hours: 8:00pm x 3:00am / 9:00pm x 4:00am

Each Guard Must Possess A Valid NYS Security Guard License and Valid Drivers License. Each Guard must be able to DRIVE a Security Vehicle while conducting security check points and report taking during each shift. Further details to follow at interview.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular mobile patrols of assigned sites to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
• Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to identify suspicious activity or security breaches
• Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including providing first aid or CPR when necessary
• Conduct conflict management procedures calmly and professionally to de-escalate tense situations
• Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and employees while maintaining accurate logs of all entries and exits
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents requiring external assistance
• Maintain detailed reports of daily patrols, incidents, and observations for record-keeping and follow-up actions

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
• Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and loss prevention strategies
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Familiarity with security protocols, including access control procedures and incident reporting
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods during patrols across various environments
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and the public
