Ranger Officer

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Ranger Officer to oversee the safety and proper use of our Shooting Range facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising customers during their range sessions, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining a secure environment for all users. This role requires a proactive approach to safety management and excellent customer service skills to create a positive experience for visitors.

Duties

• Supervise customers using the Shooting Range to ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations.
• Monitor range activities continuously to prevent unsafe behaviors and respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies.
• Provide guidance and instructions to customers on proper firearm handling, safety procedures, and range etiquette.
• Enforce rules related to firearm usage, ammunition limits, and range conduct to maintain a secure environment.
• Conduct safety briefings for new visitors and ensure all users are equipped with necessary protective gear.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the range area, including equipment inspection and reporting any damages or hazards.
• Keep accurate records of customer activities, incidents, and safety checks as required.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of safety, customer service, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Prior experience in firearm safety, security, or related roles is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of firearm handling, safety protocols, and range operations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to supervise diverse groups of customers effectively.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations or emergencies.
• Responsible attitude with a keen eye for detail and adherence to safety standards.
• Physical fitness suitable for patrolling the range area and assisting customers as needed.
• Valid certifications related to firearm safety or security may be advantageous but are not mandatory.
