Duties

• Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular patrols to identify potential security risks or breaches
• Control access points
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any suspicious activity, accidents, or security breaches for review and follow-up
• Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary to support security operations or equipment setup
• Enforce security regulations by conducting thorough inspections, patrolling assigned areas, and managing access control systems with precision and professionalism
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents to ensure proper procedures are followed and evidence is preserved
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors with directions or inquiries while maintaining a vigilant security presence

Experience

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
• Knowledge of surveillance techniques including CCTV operation and monitoring systems
• Strong conflict de-escalation skills with the ability to manage tense situations calmly and professionally
• Physical fitness to perform patrolling duties, heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and prolonged standing or walking periods
• Excellent communication skills for incident report writing and interacting effectively with team members and the public
