Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Agent to join our team. The Security Agent will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring premises, preventing unauthorized access, and ensuring the safety of all personnel and visitors. This role is essential in safeguarding assets and upholding the security standards of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to ensure continuous surveillance.
• Verify the identity of visitors and staff entering the premises, ensuring authorized access.
• Respond promptly to security breaches or emergencies, including incidents of theft, vandalism, or violence.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
• Enforce company policies related to security protocols and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Provide assistance and directions to visitors or staff as needed in a courteous manner.
• Ensure all security equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions or issues.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond quickly to incidents.
• Knowledge of security procedures, safety protocols, and emergency response techniques is advantageous.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and demonstrate a high level of integrity.

Pay: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 84.0 per week
