Job Description

As a Security Officer Clinical Campus in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors while responding to security-related needs. Position Type: Full Time / Overnight Shift

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and access issues.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and contractor entry in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior supervisory experience is required.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
