Security Guard

Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to uphold safety and security across our premises. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for monitoring the property, controlling access points, and ensuring a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to identify potential security risks or breaches
• Manage access control systems to authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
• Respond promptly to alarms or suspicious activity, following established emergency response procedures
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual occurrences
• Assist in conflict de-escalation and manage difficult situations with professionalism and tact
• Support law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring external intervention
• Conduct manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when required for security setups or emergency situations
• Maintain compliance with all security regulations and company policies at all times

Experience

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
• Demonstrated knowledge of physical security measures and surveillance techniques
• Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and firearm handling preferred
• Familiarity with incident report writing and performing background checks is advantageous
• Ability to perform patrols efficiently while maintaining high alertness levels
• Strong conflict management skills with a focus on customer service and safety compliance
• Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks as needed

Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
