Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Armed Security Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by patrolling designated areas, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding swiftly to incidents. Your expertise in conflict management, law enforcement procedures, and emergency response will be vital in safeguarding our clients’ assets and personnel. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises using CCTV surveillance and physical inspections to deter unauthorized access and theft
• Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and alarm systems to identify potential threats or suspicious activity
• Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, assessing situations with confidence and clarity
• Enforce access control procedures by verifying identities and authorizing entry for authorized personnel, visitors, or contractors
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate tensions effectively
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents or emergencies as needed
• Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance documentation accurately and promptly

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service or related fields preferred
• Valid certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications such as CCTV operation or loss prevention are a plus
• Strong understanding of surveillance technology and CCTV systems
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Knowledge of legal protocols related to security enforcement and emergency response procedures
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts

Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
