Position Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and guests
• Monitor access control systems and visitor activity
• Perform interior and exterior patrols
• Monitor CCTV and security systems
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations
• Process visitors and guests professionally
• Conduct security inspections and site observations
• Complete detailed incident and activity reports
• Provide exceptional customer service and assistance
• Support event security and access management activities
• Enforce site procedures and security protocols

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid California Guard Card required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid government-issued identification required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency required
• Ability to pass required background screening
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
• Reliable transportation to and from work

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior security experience
• Military or law enforcement experience
• Customer service experience
• Experience working in corporate, campus, hospitality, or customer-facing environments
• CPR, First Aid, or AED certification

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to conduct routine patrols throughout assigned areas
• Ability to respond quickly during emergencies
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors as assigned
