Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards using CCTV surveillance and physical inspections.
• Control access points by verifying identification, performing background checks where necessary, and operating access control systems to ensure authorized entry.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations by following established procedures, including fire safety protocols, first aid, CPR, AED operation, and emergency response procedures.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual occurrences with clarity and accuracy.
• Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when required for equipment or supplies while adhering to safety standards.
• Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to handle disputes professionally and maintain a peaceful environment.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when needed and assist in performing background checks for new personnel or vendors.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly preferred.
• Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use is desirable; willingness to obtain these certifications is required if not already held.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control systems, surveillance techniques, and physical security measures.
• Ability to perform patrolling duties confidently while maintaining high alertness levels over extended periods.
• Strong communication skills for incident report writing and conflict management with diverse audiences.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with compliance standards related to security regulations and emergency response procedures.
