Armed Security Guard – Roaming/Traveling

ARMED SECURITY OFFICER – Willing to travel

Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5 pm

Must be current in certification with Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA)

Seeking professional armed officer or retired, commissioned police officer for various security positions. Must be willing to serve as a roamer within Central Ohio and travel to other Ohio cities on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities may include greeting staff/registering visitors; searching bags and packages; answering phones, monitoring security cameras/surveillance equipment; patrolling inside and outside, escorting staff to cars if needed after dark; doing site-checks/unannounced inspections to ensure guards are in compliance with duties.

ARMED GUARD must have current OPOTA Certification –

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
