Job Summary

We are seeking energetic and vigilant Access Control Officers to join our team across all shifts. In this vital role, you will manage entry points, monitor surveillance systems, and enforce security protocols to safeguard premises. Your proactive approach will help prevent loss, manage conflicts, and respond effectively to emergencies, ensuring a secure environment for everyone on site.

Responsibilities

• Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by verifying identification and issuing credentials
• Operate CCTV systems to monitor activity across the facility and surrounding areas
• Conduct thorough background checks on visitors and personnel as needed
• Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when required for security purposes
• Respond promptly to incidents using conflict management skills and emergency procedures such as CPR, AED operation, or Taser deployment if necessary
• Maintain detailed logs of access records, surveillance footage, incident reports, and shift activities
• Support loss prevention efforts through surveillance and proactive patrols to deter theft or vandalism

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
• Knowledge of CCTV operation, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention strategies
• Certifications in first aid (CPR/AED), Taser use, conflict management, or law enforcement training are advantageous
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail during surveillance activities
• Excellent communication skills for conflict resolution and emergency response coordination
• Ability to work effectively across all shifts with flexibility in scheduling
