Job Summary
Join our vibrant nightlife team as a Night Club Guard in Hill Crest Area of San Diego , where your energetic presence and vigilant eye will ensure a safe, enjoyable environment for all patrons and staff. In this dynamic role, you will be the first line of defense, maintaining a guest service first approach, enforcing rules, and providing exceptional security services throughout the night. Your proactive approach will help create a lively yet secure atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more. this is a LGBTQ+ night club that offers a safe place for every patron to enjoy themselves. Must be 21 years of age or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entry points to verify identification and enforce age restrictions for patrons entering the club
• Conduct thorough security checks on all guests and staff to prevent prohibited items from entering the premises
• Maintain a visible presence within the club to deter disruptive behavior and respond swiftly to any incidents or emergencies
• Enforce club policies and rules consistently, ensuring a respectful environment for everyone
• Collaborate with team members to manage crowd control during peak hours and special events
• Document incidents accurately in shift reports and communicate relevant information to management promptly
• Assist in emergency situations by coordinating with local authorities and providing clear guidance to patrons and staff

Skills

• Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail in identifying potential security threats
• Excellent communication abilities to interact confidently with diverse groups of people
• Ability to remain calm, composed, and decisive under pressure in high-stress situations
• Physical fitness to stand, walk, and respond quickly during extended shifts
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures
• Prior experience in security or nightclub environments is a plus but not mandatory
• Valid security certification or license as required by local regulations is preferred

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
