Armed Security Officer

Core Responsibilities

• Exceptional Service: Provide professional protection and assistance to clients, customers, and the general public.
• Active Patrols: Monitor and inspect facilities to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Policy Enforcement: Strictly uphold site rules, regulations, and company policies.
• Incident Response: Respond immediately to emergencies or security breaches; gather intelligence and deliver detailed reports.
• Emergency Coordination: Manage high-pressure situations and collaborate effectively with law enforcement and emergency personnel.
• Professionalism: Adhere to all post orders and supervisor instructions with total reliability.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as an armed security professional is required.
• De-escalation Skills: Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution and verbal de-escalation techniques.
• Certifications: Valid BSIS Guard Card and BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit (Required).
• Documentation: Valid Driver’s License and High School Diploma or GED.
• Critical Skills: Strong communication, rapid decision-making abilities, and a calm demeanor under pressure.

Schedule & Location

• Location: Rancho Palos Verdes, CA (Reliable commute required).
• Availability: Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Current Shifts: Hiring for Day and Swing shifts (8-hour blocks).
• Flexibility: Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
