SIA Door Supervisor

Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through effective surveillance, loss prevention, and crowd control. This role requires a high level of alertness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to various situations. All applicants must hold a valid SIA licence and be committed to upholding safety standards at all times.

Duties

• Monitor entry and exit points to verify identification and maintain a secure environment
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity within the premises
• Prevent unauthorised access and manage crowd control during events or busy periods
• Respond promptly to incidents, providing first aid when necessary and liaising with emergency services if required
• Enforce rules and regulations with professionalism and courtesy
• Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with team members and management
• Ensure the safety of all personnel by being vigilant

Experience

• Previous experience in security or a similar role is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
• First aid certification is mandatory for this role
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• A professional demeanour with excellent observational skills and attention to detail
• Valid SIA licence is mandatory for employment in this role
