Security Officer/ Gate Attendant (1st and 2nd shift)

Job Summary:

As a Gate Attendant, you will be responsible for monitoring traffic entering and exiting the facility, verifying purchase receipts, and ensuring a safe and organized flow of customers, vendors, and deliveries. Your role is critical in maintaining security, efficiency, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers and delivery personnel at the gate.
• Verify purchase receipts and ensure proper documentation of materials leaving the premises.
• Monitor and control vehicle access to and from the yard.
• Ensure compliance, safety and security policies.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and directing customers as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized gate area.
• Report any suspicious activity or security concerns to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

✅ High school diploma or equivalent
✅ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
✅ Excellent communication and customer service skills.
✅ Ability to work in various weather conditions.
✅ Basic computer skills for record-keeping (if applicable).
✅ Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
