Armed Security Officer – HOA Community Pool (Mesquite / Sunnyvale) $16/hr | 32 hrs weekly | Seated

A licensed private security company is hiring a Level III Armed Security Officer for an HOA community pool in the Mesquite/Sunnyvale area. This is a seated, low‑mobility post with canopy and fan provided.

Job Duties

• Monitor pool access and verify residency
• Address rowdy teens, non‑residents, unauthorized private activity
• Enforce HOA rules, including swimwear standards
• Maintain visibility and provide customer‑friendly security presence
• Document incidents and communicate with HOA contacts

Schedule

• Thu 1p-10p
• Fri–Sun 10a–10p

Pay & Environment

• $16 hourly
• Seated post, canopy, and fan provided

Requirements

• Valid Texas Level III Commissioned License
• Age 21+
• Reliable transportation
• Professional communication and de‑escalation skills

Uniform Requirements (Texas Private Security Act & 37 TAC §35.14)

• Security shirt with required patches
• Security badge
• Duty belt with required equipment
• Tactical/uniform pants
• Duty‑appropriate footwear
• Level III firearm + compliant holster
• Commission card carried on person
