We are seeking a highly trained and vigilant ARMED Security Officer to join our team in <LOCATION>, TX. This role involves maintaining safety and security at designated sites through proactive surveillance, conflict management, and emergency response. Shifts: SWING & GRAVEYARD

Requirements:

• Must have a valid Level 3 or Level 4 Guard Card
• Prior experience is required
• Military and/or Law Enforcement experience required
• Must possess a Firearm Permit and/or CCW
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and de-escalate situations effectively
• Must know how to accurately complete a DAR
• Must be able to stand and/or patrol for 3+ hours
• Flexible availability; must be able to work variable hours

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises using CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activity
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure safety and security
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, including medical incidents requiring first aid or CPR
• Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, loss, or unauthorized access
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism and conflict management skills
• Document incidents thoroughly and accurately in reports for future reference
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and assist during investigations
• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential threats and ensure a secure environment

Skills

• Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is preferred
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable
• Strong surveillance skills with knowledge of CCTV systems
• Ability to handle conflict management situations calmly and effectively
• Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security protocols
• Ability to remain alert during long shifts and respond quickly in emergency situations
• Effective communication skills for reporting incidents and coordinating with team members
