Armed Security Agent -$26-hour- Immediate opening – 7pm to 7am Saturday-Sunday

Are you a skilled security professional with a keen eye for detail and a dedication to excellence? QXL Security is seeking a proactive and experienced Armed Protection Agent to join our team. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional security and safety services to one of our premier clients.

This client’s has multiple locations is in Scottsdale and Desert Ridge, Arizona, and you may be required to wear a dark suit as your duty uniform. We are looking for a professional with the perfect blend of security concierge skills and the ability to respond immediately to any crisis situation. This talented group is often called upon for other executive protection requests.

This is an armed position, and an active Arizona armed guard card is required before your application can be considered. Please review the experience and licensing requirements carefully, as incomplete or unqualified applications will be returned.

Current openings: 3PM to 11PM, 6AM to 6PM, 7PM to 7AM

Key Responsibilities:

As an Armed Protection Agent at QXL Security, you will:

• Operate the access control system, always ensuring safety and security, along with monitoring CCTV responsibilities.
• Conduct internal and external walking security checks and monitor surveillance systems.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to security breaches or emergencies.
• Maintain a high level of readiness, including weapons proficiency and situational awareness.
• Offer experienced support during hostile terminations, workplace violence, and the de-escalation of aggressive individuals.
• Liaise with local law enforcement and other security personnel to coordinate protective efforts.
• Compile detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, you must possess:

• A valid Arizona armed guard license.
• A valid Driver’s License.
• High school diploma (additional high-level security or law enforcement training is preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in high level armed security operations.
• Strong knowledge of use of force protocols, emergency response tactics, and threat assessment techniques.
• Weapons skills and discipline, with a strong commitment to safety.
• CPR/AED and Stop the Bleed certifications preferred.
• Exceptional judgment, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Physical fitness and agility to handle demanding tasks.
• Reliability, trustworthiness, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Successful completion of a thorough background check and drug screening.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English with exceptional report writing skills.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Familiarity and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
