Security Guard/Concierge

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure environment through surveillance and proactive security measures. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various security situations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks.
• Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity across the premises.
• Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or other security breaches.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including assisting law enforcement when necessary.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and any suspicious behavior.
• Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, or vendors.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious activity and intervening when appropriate.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally while maintaining security protocols.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems and CCTV operation is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques and security best practices.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Good communication skills for interacting with staff, visitors, and emergency responders.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in security or law enforcement are a plus.

*This is an overnight full-time position being offered to guards with at least 1 yr of security concierge experience.

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
