Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Arlington, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic automotive-related location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service while reflecting a culture that is agile, reliable, innovative, and grounded in teamwork and integrity.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including offices, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor activity, and/or vehicle movement in accordance with site policies for an automotive finance location.
• Support site operations by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, and by assisting with traffic flow, entry control, and other assigned security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
