Surveillance and Monitoring: Operate and monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems. Perform regular patrols of the premises to detect and deter any suspicious activities to prevent trespassing, theft, vandalism and criminal activities.

Incident Response: Respond promptly to security breaches, alarms, and other emergencies such as medical, workplace violence, active shooter events, and other related security issues. Investigate incidents, document findings, and escalate issues to the appropriate authorities as needed.

Access Control: Manage access to the facility by verifying the credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors. Ensure compliance with company policies regarding entry and exit procedures.

Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and enhance overall security.

Emergency Preparedness: Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans. Participate in regular drills and training sessions to ensure readiness for various emergency scenarios.

Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all security incidents, investigations, and activities. Prepare and submit reports to the Security Director and other relevant stakeholders.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as Human Resources and Facilities Management, to ensure a coordinated approach to safety and security.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors, addressing any securityrelated concerns or inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

Texas Department of Public Safety Level 3 Security License; Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) certification; or Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) authorization.

Maintain valid firearm license in compliance with State of Texas and/or federal requirements and in accordance with Saint Mary’s Hall Standard Operating Procedures.

Experience in law enforcement, civilian, military, or corporate settings with the ability to deescalate conflict and stressful situations.

Must pass the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI)

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Maintain valid First Aid, CPR and Stop the Bleed Certifications.

At least 5 years of experience in security or related field

4year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience

2year college degree and 3 or more years of related experience

Heavy Lifting: Must be capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects weighing up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently.

Mobility: Must be able to climb and descend stairs and run.

Weather Conditions: Must be able to perform duties in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow.

Defensive Tactics: Possess the physical ability to engage in lessthanlethal defensive tactics.

Training Participation: Participate in departmental training events, including physical drills and simulations.

Protective Gear: Must be able to don and wear all required personal protective gear.

Range Qualifications: Must pass all required range qualifications, demonstrating proficiency with assigned weapons and equipment.

Fitness for Duty: Job offers are contingent on passing a comprehensive Fitness for Duty evaluation, assessing physical and mental readiness for the position.

Schedule: Midnight Shift.

Environment: Exposure to both indoor and outdoor environments, with varying weather conditions.
