Security Guard

Are you looking for a straightforward security contract where you can work independently? We are looking for a reliable Independent Contractor to manage a gate at a local construction site. If you are observant, disciplined, and looking for a low-stress "sit-and-watch" position where you are your own boss for the night, this is the perfect fit.

The Perks of the Role:

• Comfort & Ease: You’ll spend the majority of your shift monitoring the gate from a provided vehicle. * Zero Expenses: We supply the vehicle and the fuel for the site—no wear and tear on your personal car.
• Total Autonomy: You work solo. No one is looking over your shoulder, provided the job is done right.
• Simple Reporting: No complex paperwork. We handle all communication through WhatsApp—just send photo updates at specific times to show the client the site is secure.

The Details (Transparency is Key):

• 1099 Status: This is an independent contractor role.
• Pay Structure We aim to send disbursements via Zelle, Cash App, or Direct Deposit on the Friday after the 1st and the Friday after the 15th
• Advances: If you’ve put in the hours and need an advance before the disbursement date, we can usually make that happen.
• Uniform: You provide your own gear: Safety yellow shirt, black tactical/utility pants, and black boots.

Requirements:

• Reliability: You must be 100% on time. This is high-security; no sleeping on shift.
• Vetting: Must pass a drug test and a criminal background check. (We are okay with minor issues from 10+ years ago, but no offenses within the last 5 years and no one currently on probation).
• Licensing: You must be able to apply for/obtain your own Level 2 Security License.
• Tech: Must have a smartphone with WhatsApp to stay in the loop and send site photos.
