Armed Security Guard

**Currently recruiting for a part-time (15+ hours/week) Armed Guard to join the team for the following shifts:

Sunday (6:00 am-4:30 pm)

Wednesday (5:30 pm-10:00 pm)

Friday (6:00 am – 2:30 pm)

Saturday (6:00 am – 2:30 pm)

Additional shifts may be available depending on client needs.

Armed Security Officer Duties and Responsibilities:

• Patrol an area for any safety or security risks
• Prevent unauthorized access to the area and the items within
• Respond to reported incidents as necessary
• Monitor a closed-circuit television for potential issues
• Maintain a log of any activities
• Document any visitors to the property
• Coordinate with law enforcement as necessary

Armed Security Officer Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED
• Possess a valid California driver license upon hire
• Must have and keep a current/valid Guard Card license issued by the State of CA
• Must have and keep a current/valid Exposed Firearms permit issued by the State of CA
• CPR certification is a plus
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Reliable form of transportation
• Physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to work overnight, on weekends, and on holidays
• Observational and communication skills
• Passsionate about making a difference

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.50 per hour
