Security For High School Sports and Events- Richmond CA

We are looking for a competent Security Officer to work at a High School In Richmond CA. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
• Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
• Provide assistance to people in need

Skills

• Proven experience as security officer or guard
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Familiarity with report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Valid BSIS Guard Card
• High School diploma or equivalent

Shift available:

This is a part time job. Events range from 3 hours to 8 hours depending on how many games the school is hosting that day or the event type.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour
