Job Description

As a Security Guard – Media Facility Patrol – Full Time in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and telecom location, you will monitor activity and conduct routine patrols throughout assigned areas, staying visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and unusual conditions, document observations, and communicate clearly with onsite teams. Bring a customer-service mindset, reliability, and integrity as you support operations through teamwork in a dynamic, innovative environment.

What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to staff and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and/or emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office, warehouse, and/or data and equipment areas as assigned, noting unusual conditions that may help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or building systems as directed, and report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, or policy issues through established channels.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with onsite contacts and/or public responders when needed.
Complete security-related reports, logs, and pass-downs accurately and on time, including incident documentation and shift activity updates.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 1+ years of security experience.
Be 21+ years of age.
A guard card/license is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
