Security Guard **PART-TIME

We Staff Healthcare LLC is actively seeking Security Guard to join our dynamic team of professionals at Fordham Nursing and Rehab Center a Skilled Nursing Facility!

Security Guard with license is REQUIRED!

**Shifts Available**:

• 6 AM – 2 PM (Per diem)
• 2 PM – 10 PM (Part-time)
• 10 PM – 6 AM (Part-time)

Responsibilities of a Security Guard:

• Under the direct supervision of the Administrator, security officer will patrol designated areas of the facility, off-site premises and parking lots so as to provide a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and employees. Required to work rotating shifts and performs all duties assigned consistent with Facility commitment to providing quality health care services in a compassionate and a humane manner.

Qualifications of a Security Guard:

• Security experience not required.
• Must be organized with alertness in making decisions in an emergency.
• Tact and diplomacy required for contact with people. ·
• Must be able to effectively interact with all levels of staff and the public.
• Has the capacity to handle multifunction assignments. ·
• Must be able to deal with high pressure situations in a calm and professional manner.
• Write factual reports documenting security/safety incidents. ·
• Good verbal skills.
