Mobile Patrol Officer

Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Patrol Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The Patrol Officer will be responsible for monitoring the property, preventing theft and vandalism, and maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. This role requires keen observation skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to respond swiftly to incidents. Candidates with a background in law enforcement or security are highly preferred. The position offers an opportunity to serve the community while working in a dynamic and professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of designated areas on foot or via vehicle to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
• Observe and report any irregularities or security breaches using CCTV surveillance systems
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism activities
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, following established protocols
• Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and observations for record-keeping purposes
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and assist with investigations
• Enforce property rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment for all occupants
• Utilize surveillance equipment effectively to monitor high-risk areas

Experience

• Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or surveillance is preferred but not mandatory
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques is advantageous
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail are essential
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
• Valid security or law enforcement certification/license is a plus but not required for all applicants
