Position Overview: We are seeking responsible, alert, and dependable Security Guards who will go above and beyond to help clients. As a Security Guard at American Universal Security, you will be an essential part of ensuring the safety of our clients and their assets. Your role will be to maintain a secure environment by monitoring premises, responding to incidents, and providing a visible security presence. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about security and public safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide visible security presence and maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors.
• Perform regular patrols of premises to detect suspicious activity or security risks.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, or incidents and take appropriate action in accordance with company protocols.
• Ensure all security-related incidents are reported accurately and promptly.
• Assist with access control and ensure that only authorized personnel are allowed entry to the premises.
• Perform routine checks of buildings, gates, and equipment to ensure everything is secure.
• Cooperate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
• Assist in emergency situations by following safety protocols and providing clear instructions to those on-site.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees, addressing security concerns and inquiries.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of activities during shifts.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Security Guard, or in relevant filed.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow security procedures and protocols effectively.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (day, night, weekends, and holidays).
• A valid security guard license is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour
