Armed Security Officer (Plain Clothes) – CCW REQUIRED

Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Armed Security Officer (Plain Clothes) with a valid Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) permit to join our dynamic security team. In this role, you will operate discreetly in plain clothes to monitor and protect high-value assets, personnel, and property. Duties

• Conduct covert surveillance using CCTV systems and other monitoring tools to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
• Maintain a visible yet discreet presence to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
• Verify the identity of individuals through thorough checks while respecting privacy and confidentiality protocols
• Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate potential threats
• Perform loss prevention measures by monitoring high-risk areas and conducting undercover inspections when necessary
• Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance documentation accurately and promptly

Experience

• Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or private security is highly desirable
• Demonstrated proficiency in surveillance techniques, CCTV operation, and loss prevention strategies
• Knowledge of conflict management principles and the ability to handle tense situations calmly and effectively
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during emergencies
• Familiarity with security protocols, CCTV systems, and loss prevention tools is preferred
• Strong understanding of legal requirements related to CCW permits and concealed carry procedures
• Excellent observational skills combined with the ability to remain discreet while maintaining high alertness

Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour
