Location: Palo Alto, CA

Pay: $32-35/hour starting

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position would be at a series of regular posts around the South Bay Area.

Security Agents are required to provide exceptional customer service to all clients, customers, and patrons. An agent must be prepared to operate individually or as part of a small team. All clients, customers, and members of the public must receive excellent service from our agents.

REQUIREMENTS

• Possess a valid CA CCW, HR218, or LEOSA
• Possess a valid CA Guard Card
• Have a valid driver’s license
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Have the legal right to work in the United States
• Able to speak, read, and write English
• The ambition to be of service and protect others
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience providing physical security, surveillance, emergency response, access control, and/or incident management
• Aptitude for clear and effective written and verbal directions
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• Be physically fit and able to sit and stand for extended periods (8-12 hours)
• Maintain composure in working with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public in all environmental conditions

DESIRED QUALITIES

• Experience designing and implementing security procedures including threat assessment methods and EP SOPs
• Ability to provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response if needed
• Able to adjust and adapt to different environments and personalities
• Able to respond calmly to critical situations
