Security Officer (Night Shift)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing surveillance techniques and conflict management skills to prevent loss and ensure safety.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Operate and maintain CCTV systems to ensure effective surveillance coverage.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, taking appropriate action as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering CPR and first aid when necessary.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required for investigations or incidents.
• Document all incidents accurately in reports for future reference and analysis.
• Engage in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
• Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.

Qualifications

• Certification in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment is advantageous.
• Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques is a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification is highly desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is beneficial but not required.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Schedule Available: Night Shift2300-0730

Wednesday-Sunday 40 hrs.

Friday – Tuesday 40 hrs.

Monday -Thursday 32 hrs.
