Events Security Guard

IPS Inc. is hiring event staff to work as Security Guards for multiple events coming up (Concerts, Conference Expos, Football Games, small events, big events, etc.) These are for NORCAL events upcoming! Come join the IPS Family!

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response processes.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally.
• Follow security procedures as dictated by your team supervisor, noting that working environments and conditions vary by client.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Possess a valid BSIS guard card. (Don’t have one? We can help you obtain one.)
• Reliable transportation.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.
• Good moral character.
• IF you are looking to join our Retail side, you MUST have worked at least 3 EVENTS with us!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Holidays
• Overnight shift
• Weekends as needed

License/Certification:

• Guard Card (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Union City, CA 94587: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (Preferred)
