Minimum Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age (Required)
• A valid, unexpired BSIS guard card before the first day of work (Required)
• A valid, unexpired driver’s license before the first day of work (Required)
• Must have excellent communication skills in English
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Job requirements

• Secure premises and personnel by inspecting access points and performing interior and exterior foot/mobile patrols regularly and/or randomly within the property perimeter
• Document checkpoints and monitor occurrences by completing detailed and accurate reports through Silvertrac
• Recall specific events and unusual occurrences accurately and efficiently
• Preserve order, protect the company’s property, and respond to emergencies while enforcing law regulations and directives pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area
• Provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers
• Follow post orders and establish a presence set by clients and property management
• Successfully apply de-escalation techniques and practices by reacting appropriately and professionally in stressful situations
• Operate a hand-held radio, smartphone, computer for checking surveillance cameras and/or other communication devices as needed
• Report to and communicate with the team, supervisors, and management via phone and email daily
• Detect, deter, observe, and report
