Armed Security Officer

We are seeking a highly trained and reliable Armed Security Officer to join our team. The Armed Security Officer will be responsible for safeguarding our premises, assets, personnel, and maintaining a safe and secure environment. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to make quick, sound decisions in high-pressure situations. The Armed Security Officer must be fully trained and licensed to carry and use firearms in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.

MUST have the following VALID documents:

• CA ID/DL
• Guard Card
• Firearm Permit
• Firearm Registration of Ownership
• Work Authorization

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and security of the company's premises, employees, and visitors.
• Perform regular patrols of designated areas to detect and deter security threats.
• Monitor security systems and alarms and respond to any breaches or incidents promptly.
• Control access to the premises and verify the identity of individuals entering the facility.
• Act as a visible deterrent to potential threats and unauthorized personnel.
• Provide assistance and support during emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or evacuations.
• Report any unusual or suspicious activities and maintain detailed incident reports.
• Effectively communicate with law enforcement and emergency response teams when required.
• Must remain vigilant and alert at all times while on duty.
• Collaborate with other security personnel to coordinate efforts and ensure overall security integrity.
• Maintain and inspect firearms and security equipment regularly to ensure their proper functioning.
• Adhere to all relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding the use of firearms and security practices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or is a plus.
• Valid state-issued armed security officer license.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws governing security practices and the use of firearms.
• Strong physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and perform security duties for extended periods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Previous , or security is preferred.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure and respond to emergencies effectively.
• Must be flexible for any post order and schedlue changes when needed.

Requirements:
The Armed Security Officer must be physically fit and able to meet the following requirements:
– Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
– Lift and carry heavy objects up to 40lbs. when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Overnight shift
• Weekends as needed

License/Certification:

• Armed Security License (Required)
• Guard Card (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• San Jose, CA 95122: Relocate before starting work (Required)
