Armed Security Officer
This position REQUIRES possession of a California state Guard Card and a California Exposed Firearm Permit with at least three years of armed security experience.
Position Overview: The Armed Security Officer is responsible for providing a high level of security and protection at designated client sites. This role involves patrolling, access control, incident response, and the responsible use of firearms in accordance with California state laws, industry standards, and company policies. The officer acts as a visible deterrent to criminal activity and ensures the safety of personnel, property, and assets. Enforce client-specific security protocols, rules, and regulations. Promote safety awareness and compliance among staff, visitors, and contractors. Maintain a high standard of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

Duties and Physical Requirements
- Provide security services at local sites
- Serve as a visible security presence at client locations
- Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols
- Utilization of tour tracking software in the performance of daily duties
- Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports, as needed
- CCTV monitoring
- Collaboration with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Provide customer service driven, professional security services
- Continuous physical effort that requires prolonged periods of walking, standing
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Certification:
- Possession of state Guard Card (Required)
- Possession of state Exposed Firearm Permit (Required)
- Driver’s License (preferred)
- Baton Permit (preferred)
- OC spray certification (preferred)
- Taser certification (preferred)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
Other
- Must be at least 21 years of age and able to provide documentation showing authorization to work in the U.S.
- Employment is conditioned on successful completion of a drug screen and background check
- If prior military, must provide DD214 discharge document with discharge status upon job offer
